Running a virtual lean machine

As Software Testing Club has grown we’ve opted to work as a mean, lean, virtual machine.  How do we do this?

Tools wise, I think that is all.  Of course this doesn’t mention the many hours and late nights spent and constant evolution of putting things into action 🙂

Snap! Rosie, we use a lot of the same apps 🙂 Also rocking Google, FreeAgent, Dropbox, Mailchimp, WordPress, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Wufoo, PayPal, Skype, Flickr and Bit.ly. Not familiar with Yammer or GoPlanApp? We’re using Basecamp and, hey, we’d be interested to know how you get on with Highrise? We use Salesforce, but not sure how that’s working out for us.

I’m on the verge of ditching Yammer, been using them since they launched, but it’s increasingly got over complicated and very buggy. Might have a go a SocialCast, who’s new not yet released Strides (strides.do) looks interesting. Trello.com also looks interesting.

GoPlan works well for us, a bit cheaper than BaseCamp, fairly similar, but does some things differently.

I like Highrise for the simplicity. Actually, once any of these tools start to become too feature rich I tend to not like them.
